Athirapally Water Falls 


Reception @  at Chalakudy  Railway Station /  Cochin Airport, (Cochin airport / Aluva/ Ernakulam Rlystn- will come  
extra payment), transfer to Hotel , Relax,Vist Athirapally water falls, go on the top and bottom of the water falls. 
Explore water fall at your leisure. falls in Rain forest (Kerala's highest falls in rain forest).



Vazhachal Water falls  

Visit Vazhachal falls, it is beautiful in landscape. Vazhachal is just 5 kms only from Athirapally falls. Vazhachal is the area of ecotourism. Guests can walk around 1 kms through the bunks of the River, Lifeguards of Tribal community takes care of the securityA shop of rare tribal products is working there. 



Charpa falls


 Charpa falls lies east of athirappilly and is between Athirapally falls and Vazhachal falls, it is seasonal, as  
summer  
starts to appear, it starts to disappear . it is a monsoon falls.  Charpa falls is wonderful with a deafening roar at right on
 the road. It is a sight to watch and enjoy though it is least known. Be ready to get drenched if you are visiting
 it in the
 rainy season


  
Thumboormuzhy Dam, View point ,Riverside garden, Natural bath, 

The most beautiful garden  with a Cildrens park, Riverside garden with facility of natural river bath. It is an eco fragle  
area with a lot of activities. It has basically a check dam,> This part of the river is most suitable for bath . It has
 a  
beautiful mountain view of eye catching. Kerala's no-1 Butterfly garden is in Thumboormuzhy, it is a photo point for  
honeymooners, serials etc

Ecotourism. A visit to Athirapally will be completed only with a visit to Thumboormuzhy. It is astonishing that

 Thumboormuzhy 
is natural habitat of various species of butterfly’s .Of course
butterfly sighting is seasonal.

Trekking In the Rain Forest- 
The most natural way of exploring the majestic beauty of Sholyar ranges of Western ghats is trekking.  
Trekking infuses a feeling of closeness and friendship that exists with nature. Trekking through the rain  
forests is a wonderful experience desires  As we have limited time , you can trek through the road in the  
forest for 2 or 3  Kms to get that wonderful experience Normally from Charpa falls to Vazhachal falls is    
preferable.


Peringalkuthu Dam
Dams or  hydel reservoirs of Kerala proving to be a big draw for tourists, Poringalkuth was opened for tourists. Boating facility was also provided. Now a days, it is has stopped for some official reasons. We hope it is
 going to be opened for the tourists soon. There were pedal boats as well as speed boats  available. It offers an eyecatching senic area of the hydel reservoirs with rare varieties of birds- flora and fauna. Evening check in at Sirkundra Bungalow. Valparai, Tea estate bungalows, Wooden Chalet Double. Rest of the day for relaxing.


Valparai Hill staion 

Valparai is located above 3,500 feet from the sea level on the Anamalai mountain range of Western ghats. Valparai is a wide Green Spread Mountains and forest with tea plantaions and a small town.  It is one of the most beautiful scenic hill staions of South india. It is a year long tourist destination 



Malakkappara Tea Estate 

The Kerala part of the Valparai is Malakkappara Hill staion. It is with tea plantaions. 



Valparai Tea & Coffee Estate 
 Valparai is  basically tea and coffee estates in the forest. There are many pantaiongroups with  
estates here. Tata  owns the biggest estate, Blair group etc with Tourism activities and tea production


Elephant Lake

Elephants comes in group to drink and bath, it is an eye catching sight. So there are chance to see wilsd  
animals here., not gurenteed. it is scenic place too .The jungle safari is through the rainforests of Sholayar  
ranges of western ghats.

Athirappilly Falls is situated in Athirappilly panchayath in Thrissur district of Kerala, on the southwest coast of India. Located on the west-flowing Chalakudy River near the Vazhachal Forest Division and the Sholayar ranges, this 80 ft waterfall and the nearby Vazhachal Falls are popular tourist destinations.
 
Vazhachal Falls is a rushing watercourse in the Chalakkudy River in the Thrissur district of KeralaSouth India. It is located 36km from Chalakkudi and 5km from Athirappilly Falls
 
There is a  construction of a weir atThumboormuzhi across the Chalakudy river and diverting the water for Irrigation purpose.stage I of the scheme comprising a weir at Thumboormuzhi across Chalakudy river and a part of the canal system was commissioned in 1957 and stage II was commissioned in 1966.
 
Charpa Falls is one of the scenic locations in Thrissur. Situated close to the Athirappilly Falls (60 km from Thrissur), the waterfall is a part of River Chalakkudy. During monsoon months (June to August) it plunges on to the road.
