Day 01:- Athirapally Tourism

Reception @ at Chalakudy Railway Station / Cochin Airport, move to Valparai. en route there is an oil palm estate, which lies along the banks of Chalakudy river. The panoramic view of these oil palm plantation attracts Athirapally tourists. In some part of the estate you can take river bath too

Wildlife watch @ Rainforest of Sholayar ranges

In you 40 Kms Jungle safari drive, there is a lot of chance to watch Wildlife,40 kms safari by car through the evergreen forest of Sholayar ranges of Western ghats. Drop at Chalakudy Rly stn/ Cochin airport. Transportation by Ac Car / Tempo Traveler / Bus

Day 02:- Sholayar Dam

8.30 am :- Move to Upper Sholayar Dam which is situated in Tamilnadu, close to Kerala border. Sholayar Hydro-electric project has two reservoirs.This upper sholayar reservoir is accessible to tourists. It offers a panoramic view of Western ghats.

Trekking in Tea estates of Sholyar Ranges

The best way of exploring the majestic beauty of Sholyar ranges of Western ghats is by trekking. Trekking infuses a feeling of closeness and friendship that exists with nature. Trekking through the tea gardens is a wonderful experience desire As we have limited time, you can trek through the Tea gardens for 1 or 2 Kms to get that wonderful experience

Elephant Lake

Elephants comes in group to drink and bath, it is an eye catching sight. So there are chance to see wild animals here. it is scenic place too .The jungle safari is through the rainforests of Sholayar ranges of western ghats.

Poringalkuthu Dam ( if permission granted)

Dams or hydel reservoirs of Kerala are always an attraction to tourists, Poringalkuthu was opened for tourists. But, it is has stopped for some official reasons. We hope, IT IS going to be opened for the tourists soon. It offers an eye catching scenic area of the hydel reservoirs with rare varieties of birds- flora and fauna.

Vazhachal Water falls

Visit Vazhachal falls, it is beautiful in landscape. Vazhachal is just 5 kms only from Athirapally falls. Vazhachal is the area of ecotourism. Guests can walk around 1 kms through the bunks of the River, Lifeguards of Tribal community takes care of the security. A shop of rare tribal products is working there.

Charpa falls

Charpa falls lies east of athirappilly and is between Athirapally falls and Vazhachal falls, it is seasonal, as summer starts to appear, it starts to disappear . it is a monsoon falls. Charpa falls is wonderful with a deafening roar at right on the road. It is a sight to watch and enjoy though it is least known. Be ready to get drenched if you are visiting it in the rainy season
