Itinerary


Day 01 :- Athirapally Water Falls

Reception @  at Chalakudy  Railway Station /  Cochin Airport, 
(Cochin airport / Aluva/ Ernakulam Rlystn- will come extra payment), transfer to Hotel , Relax,Vist Athirapally water falls, go on the top and bottom of The water falls. 
Explore water fall at your leisure. falls in Rain forest (Kerala's highest falls in rain forest)


Vazhachal water falls

Vist Vazhachal falls, it is beautiful in landscape. Vazhachal is just 5 kms only from Athirapally falls. Vazhachal is the area of ecotourism. 
 
Guests can walk around 1 kms through the bunks of the River, life gurds of Tribal community takes care of the security. 
A shop of rare tribal products is working there.


Thumboormuzhy Dam, View point, , Riverside garden, Natural bath, butterfly garden
The most beautiful garden  with a Cildrens park, Riverside garden with facility of natural river bath. It is an eco fragle area with a lot of activities. It has basically a check dam,> This part of the river is most suitable for bath . It has a beautiful mountain view of eye cathing.   

Kerala's no-1 Butterfly garden is in Thumboormuzhy, it is a photo point for honeymooners, serials etc - Rest of the day is free.



Hanging Bridge

Hanging Bridge is across Chalakudy river connecting 2 sides in Thumboormuzhy. It offers a panoramic view of Thumboormuzhy, it is 
really an experience you have to enjoy





Kauthuka Park 

A park with difference created by Mr Varky veliyath. It a unique one in its kind. It is a must see destinaion , in ones life. How far a man can go with nature , flora and founa. Here we study the peaceful co existence of humans with the nature in its true ambiguity.  It is wonderful place to visit




  

Day 02  :- Move to Malakkappara
Elephant pit  
Elephants comes in group to drink and bath, it is an eye catching sight. So there are chance to see wilsd animals here., not gurenteed. it is scenic place too .The jungle safari is through the rainforests of Sholayar ranges of western ghats.

Poringalkuth Hydel Tourism ( if get permission)
Dams or  hydel reservoirs of Kerala proving to be a big draw for tourists, Poringalkuth was opened for tourists. Boating facility was also provided. Now a days, it is has stopped for some official reasons. We hope it is going to be opened for the tourists soon. There were pedal boats as well as speed boats  available. It offers an eyecatching senic area of the hydel reservoirs with rare varieties of birds- flora and fauna.

Trekking In the Rain Forest
The most natural way of exploring the majestic beauty of Sholyar ranges of Western ghats is trekking. Trekking infuses a feeling of closeness and friendship that exists with nature. Trekking through the rain forests is a wonderful experience desires  As we have limited time , you can trek through the road in the forest for 1 or 2 Kms to get that wonderful experience. In Malakkappara also a short  trekking is possible through the tea estate.

We are going to the forest area under Malakkappara is maintained by the Kerala Forest Department.it is TATA tea estate mainly, this area hosts  some rare and endangered species of flora and fauna.. Malakkappara lies on the border of Kerala and Tamil Nadu states.this 40 Kms jungle safari is thrilling and amazing. There are several small waterfalls and natural spots where one would want to make a stoppage. This area is scenic and photographic and the virginity of the hillstaion, beckons the traveler into its fold. An encounter with the wildlife such as monkeys, wild elephants and leopards are a a natural phenomenon in the area. 5 pm return to Chalakudy/ Athirapally, therearemore chance to see wilslife on sunset time, o/n at Hote


Day 03 :- Move to Cochin
Chinese fishing nets, in use for the last 500 years and one of the tourist attractions in Kerala, are fast vanishing from the Kochi coastline as huge maintenance costs and poor catch is forcing fishermen to look for other alternatives.The huge cantilevered Chinese fishing nets that that droop towards the waters like over-sized hammocks have become a hallmark that represents Fort Kochi on the tourist map. Once just a fishing accessory, it is a now a big bait for tourists.

Fort Kochi
Fort cochin has european heritage and true cosmopolitan temperament. By walking walking through its streets is one of the best ways to discover all that the city has to offer - it's natural harbour and historical sites. A boat ride across the breathtaking blue lagoons and backwaters offers a glimpse of kochi's rural life and its true beauty.Nestled amidst coconut tress, green bushes and softly lashing seawaters, the Fort Kochi beach happens to be the favorite haunt of one and all.



Mattanchery
Mattancherry was a bustling centre of trade in the past, particularly in spices. Community like that of Jews, Konkanis, Gujaratis, Jains and Marathis came and made the place their home. Mattancherry has a vibrant past and a harmonious present. People different tongues and ethnic identities lives in harmony here. Churches, agraharams, mosques and a synagogue co-exist in the area, along with the buildings of the colonial era- Duch musem, jewish synagogu, st francis xaviers church are tourist destinations.



Marine Drive- The sea face of Cochin
Marine Drive is the most  a popular tourist spot in the down town of Cochin, Ernakulam, A scenic stretch on the sea face of Arabian sea offers a spectacular view of the backwaters and the Kochi Harbour.It hosts shopping malls, cinema halls, restaurants, cafés and supermarkets in the GCDA Complex. The Rainbow Bridge and the International Tourism Boat Jetty Complex are other attractions here. Cochin Sightseeing boating is vvery famous to explore Cochin.

The mall was opened in March 2013 and contains more than 215 outlets including food courts, restaurants, family entertainment zones, a multiplex, ice skating rink and bowling alley. Drop at Cochin airport or Ernakulam railway station.    Packages finishes at 6 pm.

Athirappilly Falls is situated in Athirappilly panchayath in Thrissur district of Kerala, on the southwest coast of India. Located on the west-flowing Chalakudy River near the Vazhachal Forest Division and the Sholayar ranges, this 80 ft waterfall and the nearby Vazhachal Falls are popular tourist destinations.
 
Vazhachal Falls is a rushing watercourse in the Chalakkudy River in the Thrissur district of KeralaSouth India. It is located 36km from Chalakkudi and 5km from Athirappilly Falls
 
There is a  construction of a weir atThumboormuzhi across the Chalakudy river and diverting the water for Irrigation purpose.stage I of the scheme comprising a weir at Thumboormuzhi across Chalakudy river and a part of the canal system was commissioned in 1957 and stage II was commissioned in 1966.
 
Charpa Falls is one of the scenic locations in Thrissur. Situated close to the Athirappilly Falls (60 km from Thrissur), the waterfall is a part of River Chalakkudy. During monsoon months (June to August) it plunges on to the road.
 
 
Poringalkuthu Hydel Tourism has much in store for the visitors. One can enjoy a nice view of the Dam and the adjoining areas part from the other amenities facilitated there.
